DEPRESSION | Do you often feel l like you’re stuck under a heavy cloud of sadness? This could be depression, a type of mood disorder. We'll navigate challenges together using approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and a tailored action plan, to enhance self-care, and foster a sense of hope and well-being.
COMPLEX TRAUMA | Complex trauma is a result of experiencing several distressing events over a long period of time. To aid your healing journey, I use trauma informed interventions, somatic experiencing and narrative therapy to help you cultivate resilience, and restore a sense of safety and empowerment.
INTERGENERATIONAL TRAUMA | Intergenerational trauma involves transmission of trauma across generations. By using family systems therapy, narrative therapy and psychoeducation, you’ll gain an understanding of your history and ultimately heal the wounds it may have caused. Cycle breaking can pave the way for an empowered future for you and the generations to follow.
POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD) | PTSD is a mental health condition resulting from traumatic experiences that linger in your mind. Through use of trauma-focused therapies, grounding techniques and coping strategies, I aim to support you in reducing distressing symptoms and memories, as you heal and regain control of your life.
GRIEF/LOSS | Grief and loss is your emotional response to losing someone or something significant. I'm here to help you navigate the grieving process by utilizing expressive therapy, grief counseling and guided mourning. Our focus will be on finding meaning, encouraging healing and rebuilding your life.
